From competentto recognised.

A mentored, evidence-led pathway to professional registration, built around your council's requirements.

Most candidates don't fail registration. They stall on the way to it.

Ten steps, one record.

Every step feeds the same evidence portfolio, so nothing is reconstructed at the end.

Step 01 of 10

Assess

An honest self-assessment against your registration category's competency standards. It is your starting point, not a test to pass.

Step 02 of 10

Plan

Your results become an Individual Development Plan: the competencies you must close, in the order that matters.

Step 03 of 10

Develop

Structured development against the plan: workplace experience, logbook entries and training aligned to your council's requirements.

Step 04 of 10

Mentor

You are matched with a registered professional who reviews your work, guides your priorities and signs off your progress.

Step 05 of 10

Record

Evidence is captured as it happens: documents, videos, work products and third-party records, tagged to competencies and work stages.

Step 06 of 10

Review

Your mentor reviews every submission. Accepted evidence builds your portfolio; rejections come back with clear reasons.

Step 07 of 10

Close gaps

The distance between where you are and where registration requires you to be, reviewed and closed continuously rather than just before your final assessment.

Step 08 of 10

Prepare

Professional assessment and interview preparation that reflects what panels actually look for.

Step 09 of 10

Readiness review

Your mentor and an assessor go through your competencies, verified evidence and current assessments with you, to agree whether you are ready to apply.

Step 10 of 10

Professionalise

You apply to your professional council, with a complete and defensible evidence trail behind you.

Everything the journey needs.

In one place, from your first self-assessment to your application.

Who it's for

Graduates and candidates
Working towards your first professional registration, unsure what the path requires.
Technicians and technologists
Progressing to the next registration category, building on an existing record.
Experienced practitioners
Turning years of practice into registration through Recognition of Prior Learning.
Employers
Who want their professional staff registered, not just qualified.

For organisations

Sponsoring staff through registration works best when someone owns the programme. PR-ED designs it with you, allocates the mentors, and gives your organisation its own view of how your cohort is progressing.

Programme design and mentor allocation
PR-ED sets up your organisation's programme and cohorts and allocates each candidate a registered mentor, within each mentor's capacity.
Your cohort dashboard
A person you nominate signs in and sees how your own cohorts are progressing: key figures, the pipeline, risk, progress trends and a competency heat map. Demographic breakdowns do not count groups of fewer than five.
Your roster
Your organisation's candidates in one list, with their pathway, completion, evidence, risk and status.
Only your organisation, only what you need
PR-ED grants access for your organisation alone. It does not open a candidate's personal record, their evidence, their mentor's notes or any other organisation.

For mentors

One screen that replaces a spreadsheet and a memory: who needs a session, whose evidence is waiting for review, and whose progress has quietly stalled.

Your caseload and capacity
See the candidates allocated to you, where each one stands, and how many more you can take within the capacity PR-ED has set for you. Every list shows only your own candidates.
An evidence review queue
Evidence from your candidates waits oldest first. Accept it, verify it, or send it back with the reason, so the candidate knows exactly what to fix.
Session logging
Log a mentoring session from the candidate's record in a few steps, so the history is there when you need it.
Early-warning flags
The platform flags a candidate automatically when evidence has waited too long, sessions have lapsed or progress has stalled, so you are not relying on memory.

For programme teams and assessors

Cohort-level readiness at a glance, and an early-warning list, not a surprise at the registration deadline.

Cohort overview
Key figures, the pipeline, risk, progress trends and a competency heat map for a cohort, narrowed by organisation, programme or cohort.
Risk flags and interventions
Five automatic warnings set a candidate at risk or off track and clear themselves when the cause is fixed. Interventions in the development plan turn a warning into an action with an owner.
Allocation and bulk actions
Allocate mentors within their capacity, and start a self-assessment campaign or schedule an assessment for several candidates at once.
Assessments, level by level
Assessors record a result for each competency on a six-level scale, L0 to L5, link the evidence it rests on and add a note; results from mentors and assessors are kept apart.
